Vidpak sorts every video in your library by size, shows how much space each one can free and compresses one clip or the whole library in a single batch. Date, location and albums stay intact. Everything happens on your device.
After a batch, the Summary screen puts the original and the compressed copy on one frame. Drag the line to compare them, then keep the original or let it go.

Sample frame. In the app you can also play both videos in full.
Sort by size, possible savings, date, duration or resolution, and see how much space each video can free.
Compress in a single batch, pause and continue from the same frame. Videos stored only in iCloud are downloaded first.
Compressed copies get a green badge with the savings, and originals that already have a copy are marked too.
The copy keeps the capture date, location, Favorites and albums. With HEVC, HDR stays too.
Best Quality, Balanced or Smallest Size, or your own resolution, quality, frame rate and codec: HEVC or H.264. Videos that would not get smaller are skipped.
Originals are deleted only after you check the results, and they stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days. No account, no uploads, no ads.
Something went wrong or you have an idea? Write in English or Russian. If a compression failed, attach the log: Settings → Journal, then the share button.
m@bobredobre.devNot on its own. After a batch, the Summary screen lets you check every result. Originals are deleted only when you tap Delete Originals, and iOS keeps them in Recently Deleted for 30 days.
With iCloud Photos, the compressed copy syncs like any other video. iCloud frees the space of an original once it leaves Recently Deleted: after 30 days, or right away if you empty that album.
If a video can't be made noticeably smaller with the chosen settings, Vidpak skips it, so you never get a bigger file. Try a lower resolution or Smallest Size.
To see the size of every video, sort them and save the compressed copies next to the originals. Everything stays on your device.
Vidpak downloads them first and shows the progress for each one. Keep enough free space on the device for the download.
iOS doesn't let apps encode video in the background, so Vidpak pauses and continues from the same frame when you come back.
